Fireworks are illegal to use in Cedar Rapids city limits. If you see them being used, call CRPD at 319-286-5491 to report it and ask for an officer to check it out. Reporting the offenses is the only way to get officers to issue citations unless they happen to see someone using them using patrol. Citations include a fine of up to $625.
