The great amusement park in Santa Clara California, California's Great America, is in danger of being redeveloped for high-density housing, retail, and office space. It's up to Cedar Fair that leases and operates the park to buy it when its sold this spring so the park can continue to operate, improve, and give many more memories to familes for future generations. The park still has some of its original rides from when it opened in 1976, including the Demon. One of the first modern inverting roller coasters. I spent my childhood coming to Great America ever since was 5 into my adulthood. I have had so many wonderful great memories at Great America and many others have as well and they deserve to continue. Please the petition asking Cedar Fair to buy the park when it's auctioned and continue to make memories.
