In 2017, Cedar Fair Entertainment Company brought the people of Kansas City an exciting and new winter attraction, WinterFest at Worlds of Fun! The event featuring holiday themed entertainment and five million lights ran from its debut in 2017 to the 2019 park season. Currently there are no plans for the event to continue in Kansas City this year or for the 2022 season. Kansas Citians, in the famous words of our own Travis Kelce, We GOTTA FIGHT for Our RIGHT to PARTY! 

Cedar Fair Entertainment Company chooses to continue to host their winter attractions in their parks in California, Ohio, Virginia, and Canada... so we ask WHY NOT KANSAS CITY?! #SaveWinterFest
