I write to you with a burdened heart, unable to watch in silence as the terrifying violence in the state of Gaza continues, with countless Palestinian lives at stake. When the land that you call home turns into a battlefield and humanitarian laws are broken with impunity, it's high time for the global community to sit up and take action. The torment that Palestinians go through every day is horrendous. As an individual deeply affected by this incessant conflict, I urge you to take a stand for the Palestinian community and bring about an immediate end to this war. Thousands are dying in Gaza. Homes, schools, and hospitals are being destroyed by relentless bombings. I’m speaking from Bangladesh, where we’re holding a Strike for Gaza today because we can’t tolerate this injustice anymore. The United Nations must act now to stop the war and bring peace 

UNRWA's post (April 5, 2025) says that over 55,000 people have been killed. This suggests that the death toll so far could be closer to 55,000 or higher. These are not mere numbers, they are a testimonial to the daily terror that looms over the head of innocents, forcing them to flee their homes. My petition thus aims to cease the ongoing conflict in Gaza, which I fear will become a genocide, if it continues the way it is. Moreover, we must ensure justice for the Palestinian people by holding the perpetrators accountable for the gross violation of human rights they have committed.
