Cease Operations at the Dumping Yard Near Mula River

Cease Operations at the Dumping Yard Near Mula River
The Issue
As a resident of Joyville, living just 100 meters from a dumping yard near the Mula river, the persisting ignorance of the local grampanchayat towards our complaints is deeply concerning. The yard, that operates unabated, has lead to a drastic decline in the air and water quality which we encounter on a daily basis due to the proximity. We constantly endure the unpleasant odors emerging from the yard, adding to our discomfort.
However, the issue extends beyond discomfort. The repercussions on the environment are severe, including water and air pollution instigated by the waste decomposition process. Not to mention the looming health hazards we could face due to persistent exposure to such an environment.
The ground water, a vital resource to many communities, is at risk of contamination over time if the dumping yard continues to operate. Unfortunately, despite numerous vocal objections from us and an explicit warning from the National Green Tribunal (NGT), the local grampanchayat seems to be oblivious of the severity of the situation.
We are calling for a comprehensive resolution to this issue by demanding the immediate cease of operations at the yard, relocation of accumulated waste to a safer location, and implementation of sustainable waste management systems to avoid future damage. It is high time the agencies involved take swift action to safeguard the health and well-being of our community.
Please stand with us and let your voice be heard. Sign the petition to call for immediate action against the unhealthy and harmful operations of the dumping yard near Mula River.
