Cease All Factory Farming Operations

The Issue

My name is Hattie I am twelve years old when I first learned about factory farming it broke my heart, I had a hard time understanding how someone could be so cruel to defenseless animals on such a large scale. I decided to change it, but I need your help. I strongly urge you to sign my petition and gain support for the ban of factory farming. Factory farming presents a host of problematic issues ranging from animal welfare to climate change. As a method of producing vast quantities of food, factory farming subjects animals to horrific living conditions, often crammed into tight conditions with little to no access to open spaces. In these environments, the spread of diseases is concerningly fast. Furthermore, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations estimates that livestock accounts for 14.5% of all anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions, a remarkable portion of which comes from factory farming. Environmental concerns are multiplying as factory farming contributes significantly to deforestation and loss of biodiversity. Implementing compassionate, sustainable farming practices is not just an ethical decision, but also a necessary step towards mitigating environmental damage. We believe it is time to end these inhumane, environmentally damaging practices and call upon our government to enact comprehensive reforms that will ultimately ban factory farming. Your signature can help push for a world where animals are treated with respect, and our environment is preserved for future generations. Please, sign this petition today.
