On December 5th, Colorado high school football players, from all over the state, will compete to win in the 2020 championship games. Unfortunately, Colorado government officials have banned spectators.  Our students deserve to have their families cheer for them. Putting a limit on the number of guests per player/student is a valid option rather than saying, “No spectators.”

Parents should be able to watch their children play and our athletes should be able to compete with their families cheering for them. That’s part of the experience. 

We can and should be able to wear masks, socially distance and wash our hands while sitting outside. We have all behaved responsibly so far.

Do not rob us and our kids of celebrating this momentous occasion together! Find a location where we can follow guidelines and watch our kids play football, cheer and play in the band!
