Chesterfield county has had a problem with providing reliable transportation for our children to and from school. This has been compounded with the start time change which was put in place despite knowing that they could not meet the transportation demands required with the change. We demand that the start time for students return to that which was in place prior to the 2018/2019 school year. We encourage the school board to revisit the school start time agenda with a fully executable plan that will not cause significant disruption to students, parents, faculty & support staff and follows all recommendations from research provided.
