It has come to our attention that falcon lunch has been removed and replaced with the regular three-block lunch schedule. Falcon lunch was very beneficial to not only students but teachers also. Students could easily go in during lunch tutorials to get help from a teacher or make up a test, all without having to skip lunch and be hungry for the rest of the day. For teachers they wouldn't have to stay so late after school to tutor students and they would have more people passing their class because if they didn't understand something they could come in during flacon lunch. I myself have benefited from falcon lunch. There have been so many times where I needed extra time on a project so I would go during falcon lunch tutorials. I have to ride the bus home. Both my parents have full time jobs so they can't pick me up after school. It was so helpful to have falcon lunch tutorials because I could always go without having to stress out over a ride. Without falcon lunch I'm sure I would have failed some classes and I know I am not the only one who feels so strongly about this. I suggest we bring back falcon lunch and get rid of our three-block schedule. It is so easy to re-establish falcon lunch, all we would have to do is have at the same time as last year. I very much hope you consider this because it is so beneficial to everyone in Clear Lake High School.
