Celestial church of Christ is an aladura Church known for its unique style and mode of dressing,worship and prayer. The founder of the church SBJ Oshoffa was mandated by the Holy spirit and given instructions of every aspects of service and worship which everyone who identifies as a member of Celestial follows till today. 

To be part of an organisation, you must follow the rules, regulations and policy of that organisation to be able to represent it. Genesis global does not represent Celestial church of Christ because they do not practise or follow Celestial ordinances. It is on record that Dele Ogundipe who is the group leader said that he was not sent to Celestial but to genesis global. It is on record that he has threatened to deal decisively with anyone who leader of the headquarters come to his parish to query h for not doing the right thing. 

This petition calls on Celestial church of Christ leadership to take a firm stand and dissociate themselves from genesis global and Dele Ogundipe if they are truly interested in protecting the church image. Recently the said group leader and some of his members are in the news for very grave allegations bordering from fraud and sexual assaults. These allegations should not be taken lightly as Celestial represents a church that stands against adultery, fornication, covetousness and all vices that are against the spiritual law of God and the law of the land. 

The decision taken by the church leadership will not only serve as a deterrent to those who may want to tow the line of the group but also discourage those who may want to tow this path. In the history of our church our fathers ,Papa SBJ Oshoffa and Baba BADA protected the sanctity and sacredness of the Celestial doctrine and never allowed anyone who had personal interest to trample on it, and those who wanted to are excommunicated. The group  FOCUS is an example of those who where removed because of their apostate teachings. 

The Celestial church of Christ is bigger than any man ,it is the church of Christ and hence must not be subject to any man's wish ,will or ambitions.
