Abayomi Ogundiran came to Canada several years ago due to persecution in his home country Nigeria. unfortunately, his refugee claims were denied. 

During the Pandemic, Abayomi volunteered and helped the community, while risking his life.

Last week, Abayomi applied for a pathway application. Unfortunately, the Canada Border Services Agency is not willing to wait with his deportation. Giving Abayomi several more months would give him a chance to receive a PR and stay in Canada a place that has been his home for years.
