The show "Brooklyn Bridge," created by the late Gary David Goldberg, aired from 1991 to 1993 on CBS. It was critically acclaimed, winning a Golden Globe and being nominated for an Emmy. And yet this wonderful show about a Jewish family living in Brooklyn in the 1950s was never released on streaming video, let alone on DVD.

"Brooklyn Bridge" should be released on streaming video and/or physical media to share this touching and funny show with a new generation that wasn't able to see it on television.

Goldberg wrote to me in 2010 saying that he was "deeply disappointed" that CBS-Paramount TV decided not to release the show on DVD. He's no longer around to fight for it, so we should.
