Unless exempted, in some way, from recently published guidelines from CBS/Paramount limiting all fan productions, efforts of the Webbie-award winning, non-profit, fan-supported production, Star Trek Continues, will likely come to an untimely end.

Ironically, this will happen at the peak of their production efforts to complete "the original five-year mission" -- with the blessings and support of fans worldwide -- and during the fiftieth anniversary of the franchise.

Without this exemption, much goodwill will be lost and large portions of the fanbase alienated -- which would be unfortunate for all parties concerned.
