The Issue
As Us Weekly stated: “The controversy continues on Big Brother. During the live feeds on Tuesday, August 28, houseguest JC Mounduix was spotted lying in bed next to houseguest Tyler Crispin. JC, 28, is spotted rubbing Tyler’s arm, face and chest, then kissing Tyler’s armpit.”
Tyler woke up the next morning and clearly voiced his concerns about JC sleeping next to him to his friend Kaycee Clark.
“Fans of the show immediately took to Twitter to express their outrage about the incident, with some wondering if Tyler, 23, would even know that it had happened. The next morning however, Tyler spoke with Kaycee about his sleep the night before, saying he couldn’t get any rest because of JC.”
Tyler is quoted to say:
“I’m sleeping alone tonight, because I slept like shit last night … JC is not sleeping with me,” Tyler told Kaycee.
“Is it really that bad?” She asked.
He answered, “Yeah.”
“Yeah, because you don’t like even cuddling. He’s actually touching you through the night?” she asked.
“Yep,” Tyler answered. He then explained that JC has a lot of “body heat,” which he also doesn’t like.
Clearly this is very uncomfortable behavior Tyler has been exposed to. Whether or not he lists his concerns and makes a complaint to production about JC or not, this is inappropriate and should definitely be dealt with in the highest capacity. Research shows that many sexual assault victims never speak up about certain things because they don’t know who or how it might affect them or the abuser. This type of behavior is unacceptable, no matter the context in which it was given. There should be a absolute zero tolerance policy for situations like this. This has gotten global attention from news sources including Us Weekly, TMZ, Popculture, and Yahoo News!

JC needs to be ejected from the game. One day it’s Tyler, and if we turn our heads the other way, it could be someone else and there could be room to escalate the issue. Imagine if Tyler was your son or your brother. Would you want this for him?
