A student organization screening of the film Milk on October 1, 2014 was canceled because CUA, "does not recognize LGBT History Month." The event had been approved for a month before concern was shown. Administrators took issue with the mention of LGBT awareness and the rainbow flag on a flyer. 

The position of the administrators should reflect the both the university pledge and the words of Pope Francis, "Who am I to judge?"

LGBT students should be allowed to recognize their history. 

This does not reflect the position of the College Democrats who organized the event.
