I love skate boarding, but I have sensitivity related to heat, skating in the heat brings me close to heat strokes or worse. There’s no doubt that many other kids have the same problem. Only being able to skate in the cool months is the worst and it doesn’t help progression. California isn’t a desert and has plenty of indoor skateparks, for Las Vegas to be a desert and hot 110° a day in the summer months, I feel that we need an indoor park. With enough signatures I’m hoping that we can solve this problem and allow young skaters to skate in summer months without fearing the heat and what it can do to our bodies. With your help we can do this together and protect the Las Vegas community from the heat while still doing things they love!
