WE WANT OUR FRIEND BECKY TO HAVE A DAY WITH THE PANTHERS!

Our friend Becky is turning 50 this December! She loves her son and she loves the Panthers!  Just a glimpse of her Social Media footprint tells the story of an amazing mom and a die-hard Panthers supporter!  You will often hear her son on their car rides to school quizzing her about players numbers and team statistics. She has been featured on Ballantyne Magazine's cover as a fan and doesn't miss a chance to watch the team practice, participate as a volunteer at McCaffrey's camp for kids or enjoy Fan Fest.  Becky's began her professional career working with Marshall's football program and this love of football and all that it stands for now is placed solely with her favorite home team... the Carolina Panthers!

THE SACRIFICE:  As a single woman headed on a fast track professionally, Becky's heart to help those who can not help themselves lead her to adopt a child from Guatemala. While most of us were enjoying the balance of co-parenting and socializing with friends Becky spent and continues to spend her time committed to the day in and day out joys and stresses of raising a child on her own.

Today because of Becky's hard work, Mason enjoys going to a charter school that helps him develop the tools he needs to learn and grow as a child with the challenges that being adopted from another country can bring.. He has friends, is an amazing... truly amazing young man and the fruit of Becky's devotion and sacrifice can be seen in his smile and the way Mason works hard in his studies and cares so much for others.

A PROFESSIONAL SHIFT FOR OTHERS: To further underscore her willingness to sacrifice for others especially those who are transitioning from the sport she loves so much, a few years ago Becky choose to leave the world of sales and join a company whose sole focus is to help those who have lost their jobs through downsizing and/or displacement this includes assisting former football players as they transition out of the sport and into mainstream work.   Because of her heartfelt desire to help others and her love for the company and what it stands for!

Because she is focused on Mason, her job and those around her... Becky chooses to go without the things that so many of us enjoy... that cup of Starbucks in the morning... a massage once in a while... a nail appointment... and new clothes... this year we really want her to be able to enjoy some fun... $5,000 worth of fun and a day spent with her favorite football team!

Her heart has always been for those who are hurting, suffering and needing a hand up. She believes that with help everyone can find success and a life that they dream of. She has sacrificed her own, time and time again so those around her have an opportunity to shine.... as her friends... we all have experienced this love from her and it has made us all better people.

So.... for Becky's 50th birthday we want to SURPRISE her and ask the Panthers organization to give her a "Day with the Panthers".  We hope this would include some time with her favorite player #22 and the new owner of the team as she has been so encouraged by his story of success through hardship.
