I love cats, and unfortunately, Sun City (El Paso, TX) is known as a dog city.

I was in a neighborhood where there were lots of strays. I had 9 fixed with the help ofa non-profit group.

I wish stray cats will be fixed. It will end homelessness among cats. 

Most people will not even slow down when seeing a cat or kitten crossing. They dimply run them over �

My greatest wish is, there should be cat sanctuaries for old, sick, abandoned cats & kittens, because it seems it's difficult for them to be adopted compared to dogs. 

I wish that, if people can't adopt a cat or cats they frequently see, at least help trapping them so they can be fixed & be placed in a sanctuary where volunteers can care for them, and not be branded as nuisance, because they're not.

In Minnesota, there's a cat sanctuary there & those cats are well fed, cared for, protected from hatsh weather conditions. Most of them are fixed, old, and abandoned. 

I hope the government can fund vets so they in turn can be of great help to cats.
