This petition suggests that perpetrators of sexual assault gets castrated, this will decrease the level of testosterone in their body and that will result in a much lower sex drive and this will therefore prevent further sexual assaults.

This option should be available to use as an optional sentence when the crime committed is a sexual assault! This option saves society from future harm committed by that sexual predator. As when the amount of testosterone in a persons body decreases, so will their sexual drive. The urge to commit further sexual offenses will be significantly reduced! 

And there are a few options:

• Chemical castration

• Surgical removal of both testis

the effects are the same but the duration obviously varies, the surgical removal is a permanent solution as for the chemical treatment the effect is only temporary.

Currently the perpetrators of sexual assault gets a sentence of some time in jail BUT as soon as they are free they go right back to committing sexual assaults AGAIN many studies has shown this fact. To CHANGE this behavior there needs to be a physical option available. This option could be applied to serious offenders, for example • repeat offenders • pedophiles • violent offenders are all instances that require a different solution for punishment. A sentence that actually makes a long term difference!!
