Growing up with the world of "The Kane Chronicles" by Rick Riordan, I dreamt of stepping into the shoes of my favorite characters. Among them, Carter Kane stood out. As a mixed race black kid who spent much of their childhood reading and re-reading this series, it would mean the world to me to be part of the show.

The significance of "The Kane Chronicles" in my life can't be overstated. It was a constant companion during my formative years, shaping not only my love for storytelling but also my pushing me to read Egyptian, then Greek and Norse mythology.

If a live-action adaptation of "The Kane Chronicles" is being developed for Disney+, as an actor, I see this as a beautiful opportunity to fulfill my childhood dream. I believe I can embody Carter Kane's spirit, determination, and nerdy rule-following-ness, because I’m literally him.
