As one of the finest British character actors of his generation, this petition calls for Benedict Cumberbatch to be seriously considered to inherit the role of James Bond following Daniel Craig's retirement from the role.  His voice, his presence and his depth and versatility of performance in every role he's had make him an ideal candidate.

If not in the main role, he'd make a spectacular, layered Bond villain, too.
