The City of Casselberry has no skatepark.  Many skateboarders call Casselberry home, yet they're forced to leave the city to enjoy a skatepark or are forced to skate in unsafe places around town.  A skatepark is an investment in Casselberry's future and will provide its youth with a much needed space to safely pursue an active lifestyle, socialize and build a community.  

Casselberry has a rich history of providing recreational options to its residents, yet despite the large numbers of adults and kids who are active skateboarders living in the community, there is no facility for them.  Skateboarding is prohibited in city parks and property and outlawed on streets by state statute.

The City Commission needs to take action by selecting a site for a Casselberry Skatepark and funding its construction.
