The Issue

It is disheartening to witness the arbitrary closure and limitation of accounts without any legitimate reason, solely based on Cashapp's policy claims. We demand that Cashapp reevaluates its account handling procedures and adopts a fairer approach towards its users.

This petition is personal to me because I have personally experienced the unjust closure of my account by Cashapp, despite knowing for a fact that I have not violated any of their policies. My usage of the direct deposit feature was minimal, and I only transact with a selective few trusted individuals. Therefore, it is evident that there must be an error or misunderstanding in their assessment.

Cashapp's current practice of deducting funds from users' accounts for purchases made months ago under the pretext of glitches or unprocessed transactions is outrageous. It places an undue burden on innocent users who rely on this platform for their financial transactions. Such actions not only erode trust but also create unnecessary financial hardships for individuals who are already struggling in these challenging times.

We believe it is essential for Cashapp to address these concerns promptly and implement necessary changes in how they handle user accounts. Our demands are as follows:
