Please appoint Carmen Marzella to the At Large Cary Town Council Seat

Please appoint Carmen Marzella to the At Large Cary Town Council Seat
The Issue
We formally request that the Cary Town Council appoint Carmen Marzella to fill the upcoming vacancy on the Cary Town Council created by Julie Robison’s resignation.
Carmen, Elizabeth, his high school sweetheart and wife of 20 years, and their three daughters, who attend Wake County Public Schools, are residents of Cary. They attend Crosspointe Church on Carpenter Fire Station Road and they own the Dunkin Donuts located near the Highway 55 and High House Road intersection in Cary. Carmen is also an attorney.
Carmen volunteers at his church, has served on the Town of Cary’s Economic Development Commission, and is currently a member of the Town of Cary’s Shale Gas Development Task Force.
Carmen played an instrumental role in stopping ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) from building an office and holding facility in West Cary. He spent hours providing hands-on assistance to ensure that this community’s safety and well-being was protected.
Carmen is an active, responsible citizen of Cary, devoted husband and father, cares deeply about this town, and has a variety of business knowledge and experience to bring to the Town Council.
Please consider appointing Carmen Marzella to the upcoming vacant At Large Cary Town Council seat.
Sincerely,
Concerned Citizens of Cary
