Back in the late 90’s and early 00’s. Cartoon Network has became one of the best cartoon channels of all time in TV history. It was home to the best place for cartoons thanks to it's iconic shows we love to watch back then such as Dexter’s Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls, Cow & Chicken, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Johnny Bravo, Codename: Kids Next Door, Ed Edd ‘n’ Eddy and many more helped defined the network.

They were really worth the watch due to it’s great animation, hilarious voice acting, great character design and well written stories from their creators such as Craig McCracken and Genndy Tartakovsky. It also spawned many merchandising such as toys, video games, monthly magazines, annuals and even comic books. Also on the other hand, the UK used to had Warner Bros. Studio Store outlets across the country which also sells Cartoon Network merchindising, But in 2004, all of it's WB studio stores were closed down. Leaving only Adventure Time and Ben 10 merchindise available to purchase since Cartoon Network's main online shop can only ship within the United States.

In 2010, the classic Cartoon Cartoon shows were cancelled to make room for newer shows in the UK making them no longer available to view on both their main network and it's sister channel Boomerang in the UK. Later on, Cartoon Network uploaded their shows as full length episodes or as complete seasons on VOD (iTunes/YouTube/Amazon) but only available in North America and Asia due to region restrictions. The classic CC shows were also released as DVD Complete seasons but yet again only available in North America, Austrailia and Asia leaving the UK in the dark and have no choice but to pirate the shows they really love. Unless if you're a lucky UK toon fan who has a region free player and can import them online from Amazon or eBay.

The Cartoon Cartoon shows such as The Powerpuff Girls is currently re-airing on Boomerang in North America and Australia. While on the UK version of Boomerang. It is nothing but countless repeats of the Scooby-Doo! and Tom & Jerry shows which is also seen back in the early 00's or can be picked up on DVD.

Thankfully, Netflix UK/Ireland and Amazon Prime Instant UK has inked a deal with Turner Broadcasting Europe to have their classic Cartoon Network shows streaming on their services but it’s just isn’t enough. We are still missing Ed Edd ‘n’ Eddy, Codename: Kids Next Door, Cow & Chicken and Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy as these shows are still yet to be available on both Netflix and Amazon Prime in the UK that the United States has on their Netflix service. What’s also not enough is that few of their shows did get a Region 2 release but only contained between 4-6 episodes once. For example, the UK only got two Powerpuff Girls DVDs which is the main movie by Warner Bros. and a episode bundle called ‘’Mame Event’’. But however did get the full first seasons of Gumball, Adventure Time and Regular Show.

So you think I could mark this petition as over because there are two unofficial streaming sites called Cartoon Network Reboot & Toonami Aftermath that streams classic Cartoon Network shows 24/7 still isn't enough. There is no On Demand feature and the shows and their episodes are picked at random. We in the UK prefer to pay and watch them legit by not supporting any piracy or watch them illegally online because most of the time, episodes uploaded illegally on YouTube can cause Cartoon Network to take down the video under copyright infirngement.

By not providing the shows we used to love when we were kids in the UK. They are forcing us to enter the world or piracy and torrent their shows illegally just to enjoy watching them again. I do not support piracy in any other way. I prefer to watch those classics legit and legally.

If Warner Bros. Entertainment and Cartoon Network can release boxsets and DVD’s of Looney Tunes, Scooby-Doo!, Season 1 of Adventure Time and Regular Show, entire series of Ben 10: Alien Force without a problem. I don’t know what’s stopping Cartoon Network from re-airing and releasing their classics in the UK on both VOD and DVD.
