Metalocalypse was greatly loved by the metal community, and brought metal into the public eye in an accessible form, and without negative connotations. 

While the show ended with resolve, there is so much more the band could endure. With the size of the show's fan base, it's sure to be profitable to Cartoon Network and the show's creators, as well as massively entertaining to its adoring fans.
