·       Salt Forks hunts an outdoor hunting outfit is clearly acting irresponsibly by killing animal’s execution style and then posting the videos on line laughing and making light of their barbaric acts and possible hunting violations.

·       If this is any insight to how countless animals are being treated and killed in Texas it is nothing less than shocking and alarming.

This takes hunting to a whole new level as the shooter as well as the person videoing the killings are clearly enjoying seeing these animals suffer, inexperienced and watching joyfully as the hogs are shot in the head and thrashing in pain and shock as they die a slow painful death, not to mention shooting them while they are locked in a small cage in front of one another causing extreme fear in the animal before they shot in the head by an inexperienced shooter. She is said to be using an AR15 Rifle.

·       In 1990’s hundreds of hogs were dumped in the back lands of Texas hunting grounds. These animals know not anything about land ownership and if they are eating someone’s crops, they are doing what comes natural to them & foraging for roots and vegetation.

·       Had not so many been deposited here they would likely not have a reason to kill so many,

·       Outside of the human, elephant & chimpanzee the pig/wild boar /hog & swine family is the next most intelligent sentiment living creature that we know of, they are a social network of families and rarely fight amongst themselves. They are vegetarians and look out for their young.

·       The style of hunting that Salt fork hunts is promoting is sick and barbaric and shocking to say the least.

·       I can’t imagine that what they are displaying is acceptable amongst serious hunters; this is a situation where control over other sentiment beings has become their recreational pastime and more disturbingly their entertainment.

·       They are encouraging hunters to partake in this manner of killing and defend it as acceptable

·       We are strongly urging the state of Texas Ban Salt Forks Hunts License to hunt and other barbaric hog hunts 

·       They are setting a very negative light on the State of Texas and they are averaging $80,000 a year profit on killing animals.

·       It is time to create change and we are asking Texas to step up their game! And stop this irresponsible business Salt Forks Hunt from ever leading a hunt again.

·       Please view the video blow and ask yourself if this is a fair hunt or a disturbed concept of Sport?

·       We have formed this petition in lieu of the upcoming vote on Texas to ban hunting. We hope to shed some realism to the need for Banning hunting in Texas/and for stricter protocols to ensure nothing like this ever happens again without penalty.

·      Proposition 6/ Establishing right to hunt, fish, harvest wildlife

·       In stating that hunting and fishing are the preferred methods of managing wildlife populations, this proposed amendment would not restrict the use of other methods to achieve this goal. Use of the term “traditional methods” would ensure the protection of all methods of hunting, fishing, and harvesting wildlife, while also allowing for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to prohibit methods that were inhumane or not sporting or that could endanger wildlife populations. The proposition also would single out hunting and fishing as “preferred methods of managing and controlling wildlife” when there are many ways to manage wildlife to achieve a balanced ecosystem. Some other methods, such as techniques to limit the reproduction of certain species, might be more appropriate in certain situations. While the right to hunt, fish, and harvest wildlife under Proposition 6 would be “subject to laws or regulations to conserve and manage wildlife and preserve the future of hunting and fishing,” there could be confusion in interpreting this provision. Texas has large nongame wildlife populations, including endangered and threatened species. Hunting and fishing of many of those species would not be appropriate and in some cases is prohibited by state and federal law.

·       The proposed amendment would protect the right to hunt and fish using “traditional methods” without defining the term. This language is broad and could lead to the protection of methods of taking wildlife that some consider to be inhuman

AS a dog advocate & rescue I Strongly OPPOSE the use of Pitbulls or any dog for hunting wild boar,as you can see in these videos the dog often gets seriously injured
