At their meeting on Wednesday, as expected, the BOE approved the PRELIMINARY budget that was presented to them by CCPS. At this point Outdoor School has been preserved, BUT unfortunately the final budget is completely contingent upon funding from both the state and county. The budget is now going to be presented to the County Commissioners, who will need to decide how much money to actually give CCPS. We need to attend this meeting and show the Commissioners how much we care! Once the date is officially released, we will let everyone know. The battle to save Outdoor School for another year is only beginning. Please stay the course and do everything you can to help!
