It is with great disappointment that we have learned Outdoor School will not be operating next school year. While this is heartbreaking news for the thousands of students, teachers, counselors, and families whose lives have been impacted by this incredible program, the fight is not over.

If we continue to speak up, attend meetings, write emails, make phone calls, and share our stories, we have the opportunity to bring Outdoor School back in the following school year.

We need everyone to get involved—students, parents, teachers, former counselors, alumni, community members, and supporters. Attend Board of Education and County Commissioner meetings. Email decision-makers. Call elected officials. Share what Outdoor School has meant to you and your family.

For generations, Outdoor School has provided students with unforgettable experiences, leadership opportunities, environmental education, and lifelong memories. We cannot let this treasured program disappear without making our voices heard.
