My uncle was assaulted  and arrested on April 25th by 5+ police officers after being suspected of "swallowing something" when he was at the convience store. He was in the process of getting his life together before he was arrested. He was getting custody of his daughter, he just got a real nice job but now on top of Covid-19 my family has to worry about the safety of our family from the people who are supposed to be there protecting us. They were supposed celebrating my sisters 21st birthday when the cops crashed in and had my uncle screaming for his life in front of my family. 

WE NEED CHANGE

I know this is late but on June 3rd Las Vegas City Hall is is going to have a peaceful protest. We need to show that we are here. That these problems do exist and the system needs to be altered based on it. Whether it be justice reform or background checks we want a change.

WHEN WE CALLED THE POLICE TO ASK WHY THIS WAS HAPPENEING THEY LAUGHED IN OUR FACE AND SAID IT WAS BECAUSE ONE OF THE OFFICERS WAS "TOO SMALL"

Let's not just focus on the lives who are lost when we protest, but the people that are wrongfully imprisoned for crimes that they have not committed.
