No response. Email sent to Carole Smith.

I have not been contacted and no responses or new information has been provided in regards to John's termination. I sent the following email to Carole Smith on 3/17/16 @ 2:09pm. Carole, I write to you as a representative of the North Portland community. I recently created a petition which currently contain the signatures of 236 students, parents, alumni, and members of the North Portland community who are extremely concerned with the recent actions taking place at Roosevelt High School, specifically but not limited to, the removal of the Varsity Soccer Coach and Coach of the Year, John Teuscher. I ask that you look through the comments left about John and through his current and past accomplishes. This will tell you that the decision to fire John makes little to no sense. John is exactly the kind of person who should be in this role. His integrity, hard working mentality, and ability to win is the exact kind of person who should be mentoring and coaching our youth. To date no announcement or notification have been made stating why John was let go. Considering John is a valuable member of the community where Roosevelt exists I would request that an explanation be provided so that I may share it with the community you serve. Regards, Adam Teuscher Roosevelt Alumni and Soccer Player
