Over 200 supporters! Reminder to keep things civil

I wanted to do a quick update. Over 200 supporters in 48 hours! Thank you to everyone who signed. All of your comments mean a lot. I have been contacted by some news outlets that would like to do a piece on John and this situation. More info to come... In regards to comments, please keep comments civil and do not call anyone out. We want to keep this as positive as possible and focus on John (what he has done for the community and how he has impacted lives in North Portland) and how his removal negatively affects the community. Any negative comments might detract from the message and give them justification to ignore or write us off. Carol Smith nor the school board was involved in this decision, this group should not be taking the heat. They were added as decision makers due to their status and influence in the hope they can help right this wrong. Thank you for your support if nothing else John now knows how much he is appreciated and his contributions are recognized by the community.
