Sue Norwood has been the Sound School librarian for years. She is the only certified art teacher in our school who can grant seniors an art credit that is required to graduate. Without her, the class of 2019 cannot graduate. She is like a second mother to all of us. She welcomes everyone with open arms and is not only a teacher, but friend. 

Nilsa is our counselor. The seniors have grown close to her and she knows us well. We trust her with helping us plan our future. She can manage our ASTE requirements unlike the new counselor. We are all hurt by the loss of Nilsa. It is hard to say goodbye to someone who has helped us prepare for the future. 

New Haven is switching around teachers without giving anyone a say. Sound School students do not want to lose the two beloved teachers who are vital aspects of our future.
