As youth part of Carmel High School’s Green Action Club, we recognize that climate change is the determinant of our future. This growing threat calls for urgent action to tackle climate change and its impacts. We believe that it's vital for the city of Carmel to prioritize sustainable initiatives to allow for a better tomorrow.

In partnership with city councilman Miles Nelson, we are launching a campaign to plant 10,000 trees in Carmel. Planting trees directly addresses several of the threats climate change poses as it not only helps clean the air we breathe and filter the water we drink but provides habitats to over 80% of the world's terrestrial biodiversity. Thus, this campaign is the perfect initiative to promote climate action in Carmel

By working together with community members, small businesses, and city officials, we believe this campaign will play a vital role in inspiring the community to come together and protect our precious environment.
