In 1999, legendary Grammy award-winning artist Santana released his eighteenth studio album Supernatural.  With this release, the world was blessed with one of the most influential and timeless records of the century.  That record is "Smooth" featuring Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20 fame.  Not only does this timeless record capture a generation like no other record to date, but this chart-topping hit (both in the US and Internationally) would go on to win three Grammy Awards for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals. 

It has been 20 years, and most would agree, this life ain't good enough.  What the world needs now is another hot one.  Another chance to hear that rhythm on your radio or streaming service.  What the world needs now is Smooth 2, or Too Smooth, or Two Smooth.  I'll let the experts decide what they want to call it, but its time we get together and let the musical genius collaboration that is Carlos Santana and Rob Thomas flourish once again for the future generations.  Stand with me in solidarity as we move along into the new decade.  Because if it's one thing we need right now, it's the kind of lovin' that can be so smooth.
