In an amazing development, Heineken has announced that they are ditching plastic rings across their multipack products - it's clear that drinks manufacturers are beginning to listen to the 309,000+ people who have signed this petition!

The decision means a reduction of 517 million tonnes of plastic per year once it has been applied to all of the brands that they manufacture in the UK by the end of 2021. So that Heineken, Fosters, Kronenbourg 1664, Strongbow, Bulmer's, Red Stripe and John Smith's.
