If the Hayfork Head Start programs are closed, families will be negatively impacted by the loss of the educational opportunities in areas of health, parenting, relationships, and nutrition.  Children will not have a safe place to go, nutritious food to eat, health checkups, or early education opportunities for cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Head Start has been a presence in Hayfork for more than thirty years. Generations of families have benefited from Head Start.
