No More Walmarts, Dollar Stores, or Mcdonalds in the North East

No More Walmarts, Dollar Stores, or Mcdonalds in the North East

The Issue

We in Northeast El Paso are finally getting a shopping center named North Hills Crossing at the intersection of Martin Luther King BLVD and US 54.  As excited as we are, our excitement turned to dismay when we fouind out that a few of the stores included are ones that we have all over the NE. They are planning a Mcdonalds, Walmart Market, and Dollar Tree.

We have a Mcdonalds in both directions only 3 miles away, why would we want another one.  We need something different than what we already have!

Walmarts are everywhere in the NE.  There is a Super Walmart on Woodrow Bean Transmountain, another on Dyer, and a Walmart Market located on Hondo Pass.  How about a Target instead?  That way we dont ahve to drive all the way to the far east to Joe Battle, Bassett Center, or to the West side.

Dollar Tree is located on Fairbanks just a short drive away!  We also have a Family Dollar and Dollar General within a mile away from this proposed site.  No more Dollar Stores.

There are thousands of stores out there to choose from.  Get some stores that will actually want people to go to the NE and shop.  I personally wont be going to the shopping center.  There are a few places that i would go to but why go there when i have to drive across town for the bigger stores and i can just stop there.
