For the past twenty years Bedfont Lakes have always had Rangers working on site during opening hours. This changed in March 2015 and now the park is not manned from 4:30 pm which risks the safety of both the animals and the humans who use the facility. This issue has been bought to light by the savage and brutal murder of two newborn lambs on 10th April 2015 and the torture of the remaining flock which occurred at approximately 5.30 pm. Carillion PLC are employed by Hounslow Council to manage and run the site and as such are working on behalf of ALL Council Tax payers of the London Borough of Hounslow. They must take on board the views of the residents of the borough and ensure that they improve the safety of our country park and protect the wildlife from further attacks.
