On 06 June Cardiff Council announced that they were going to evict almost all of the local organisations who use the former Llanedeyrn High School gymnasium building.

Llanedeyrn and Pentwyn ABC, Izzy Wizzy Childminders, Roy Court Judo and a local church group were told they would be evicted to make way for the Family Contact Centre. Only the Boxing Club is being allowed to remain.

This is completely unfair. Popular local groups providing services for toddlers through to the pensioners, are being thrown out with no notice, without consulting them and the wider community, and before alternative solutions are put in place,

The council have already taken the Dome away and now they want to take away another community building. Why should our local community groups suffer?
