We had more coverage yesterday with an article from WalesOnline. The Council sound as if they are finally taking the problem more seriously, but we want to know that progress is being made on possible solutions. We've had over a year of talking, and no action! At the same time as allowing school end of days to happen closer together, the Council has also cut the Pwll Coch school bus service down from two buses to one. Longer journey times mean fewer children are using the bus. Safe cycle routes on the busy main roads to Lawrenny Avenue are virtually non existent. This all creates MORE school traffic as more parents drive. So let's keep up pressure on the Council to create strategic solutions. Help them to help us! Thank you.
