Covid-19 has greatly impacted our community, country, and the world. But almost no one has been more impacted by this than the Class of 2020. We’ve had our sports seasons ended, no senior prom and not even a graduation we were PROMISED. One of the most important days in our lives were taken away from us and we were given false hope about a ceremony that never happened. Every other school in Sussex County like Sussex Tech, Milford, Sussex Central etc. held modified, in-person ceremonies for their students. To many of us, the 13 years of hard work did not feel rewarded properly. It’s especially an emotional time now with graduation season underway and many of us have shed tears over what COULD'VE been. With it being summertime and all of the students being home for summer, I’m sure we would all make the time and find any way to get the closure and the ending we deserve. We want a re-do.
