Remember The Punisher and the Marvel VS Capcom games? The first two Marvel games that were made by Capcom were The Punisher, which was a beat-em-up, and X-Men: Children of the Atom. After that was Marvel Super Heroes, the one with a few X-Men characters but with other Marvel characters, like Captain America and Iron Man. But the one that REALLY started it all was X-Men VS Street Fighter. Then we got Marvel Super Heroes VS Street Fighter, with Norimaro as a Japan-exclusive guest character. Then, after that was when Marvel and Capcom decided to name the series Marvel VS Capcom! Marvel VS Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes had some new characters, like Mega Man. Then, in 2000, there was Marvel VS Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, which had every playable Marvel and Capcom character from the previous games before it. It also had some new Marvel and Capcom characters, like Ruby Heart, Amingo, Cable, and Jill Valentine. I’m thinking that we need Marvel and Capcom to remake the aforementioned games, for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, with the music remastered/remade/arranged, new music, additional characters, new stages, updated graphics, the ability to switch between characters, and online multiplayer. These remakes should have multiple composers to remaster/remake/arrange the music and compose new music, and three of those composers should be Yoko Shimomura, Masato Kouda, and Tetsuya Shibata. The MVC2 remake should have two credits rolls. A Cast Roll and a Staff Roll. For the cast roll, they should use the song, Audience by Ayumi Hamasaki, and for the Staff Roll, they should use/remaster/remake/arrange the MVC2 Staff Roll theme. For the MVC2 remake’s Online Mode Menu, they should use/remaster/remake/arrange the unused Network Mode theme. Also, we need Marvel VS Capcom 4 and sequels to The Punisher, X-Men: Children of the Atom, and Marvel Super Heroes. Hopefully, the theme for the soundtrack of MVC4 will be a combination of jazz (MVC2) and techno (UMVC3), and the character select theme will be a remix of the Cave Stage theme from MVC2.
