On April 15, 2021 Behaviour Interactive teased on the Dead by Daylight(DbD) YouTube channel that fans of their popular asymmetrical survivor horror game: Dead by Daylight, will be having a new collaboration with Capcom's iconic zombie survival horror series: Resident Evil(RE). From this news both communities of these two games rejoiced in excitement over the new collaboration, the conversations were endless! What characters will be the new survivors? What monster/villain from RE will be the new killer? What will the map be?

All of these were answered on May25th, 2021 when the reveal trailer was dropped revealing that Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine as the new playable survivors for DbD new RE collaboration, two characters which were both recently the stars of the popular remakes of Resident Evil 2 & 3. Not only that but they will be faced with the infamous Nemesis as the new killer, all taking place on the iconic Raccoon City Police Department as the new map. It was a dream come true for RE fans! Everyone was excited by the announcement! Shortly after that it was also leaked that Leon and Jill would be getting new legendary skins as the characters Claire & Chris Redfield. Claire who also starred with Leon in the RE2 Remake and Chris who recently starred in the newest installment of the RE series: Resident Evil 8(Village). This was even more exciting to have even more famous characters from the series be coming to DbD. But one question everyone was asking was the absence of a fan favorite and just as important character to the mix... Ada Wong. Ada Wong is an iconic fan favorite character first introduced along with Leon and Claire in the original Resident Evil 2(1998) game and has gone on to feature in many other RE titles and movies, including the new RE2 Remake(2019) and the new upcoming Welcome to Raccoon City horror movie slated for the end of this year(Fall 2021), Ada also was meant to make an appearance in Village but was cut do to story complications. She(Ada) is best known for saving and starring next to her "catch me if you can" love interest, Leon Kennedy. Ada was also is one of if not the first Asian woman to be a playable main character in a videogame of that time. Not only that but Ada broke all barriers and negative stereotypes society has about Asian women in media and remains an iconic female character within gaming history. Ada is a pivotal vitale character within the Resident Evil series and not hearing her announcement as a legendary skin for Jill coming to the new collaboration was devastating and bitter to say the least for the community and her HUGE fan base.

When the collaboration released on June 15th, 2021 as exciting and fun it was for players to run around as Leon or Claire from Micheal Myers on a Saw map, the disappointment of Ada's absence continued as she was not added into the game along with the others. The community became furious all online as people DEMANDED for Ada to be added into the game as a playable legendary skin for Jill.

Now present day(June 24th, 2021), a week past the release of the new update... It has come to my attention to speak on behalf of the community and Ada's HHUUGGEE fan base to which has caused nothing but chaos and outcry online for the past week not just within the RE community but the DbD community that... Ada Wong needs and deserves to be in the game. It's just simple, she needs to be in the game and the fact that she wasn't included in this update was just a huge miss and failure on the parties involved in this collaboration. It's a protest on Twitter, the hot gossip on Instagram, a comment war on YouTube... People want Ada in this game and I don't think people really care the cost of playing as her in DbD.

Leon is on a hook! Who's gonna help him? Ada! Please sign and spread the hashtag #ada4dbd or #adawong4deadbydaylight and let the devs know you want Ada and why! Who do we want in Dead by Daylight!? Ada Wong!! When do we want her!? NOW!!! Or soon but please add Ada into DbD soon.
