As a long-time pet owner, I have experienced the joy and companionship that pets bring. However, I've also faced the harsh reality of veterinary costs. Recently, my beloved cat was put down after undergoing tests, leaving me with a bill close to £1000. This is not an isolated incident but a common story for many pet owners.
