The Issue

Ruth Bader Ginsburg's exemplary service to the Supreme Court was one filled with dedication and fervor. However, her passing while a Republican was in office led to an imbalance. The replacement ushered in an era where the number of Democrats on the bench is fewer than Republicans. This scenario is leading to nonstop legal corruption. It demonstrates the pressing need for a reformation in the tenure policy of Supreme Court Justices.

It has long been a tradition for Presidents, the highest office in the land, to be limited to two terms or a max of 10 years. There is merit to implement a similar principle to Supreme Court Justices. A 10-year limit should be mandated to prevent partisan bias and ensure a more balanced representation on the bench. If we apply this model, it allows for change – it allows fresh perspectives, innovation, and new voices to be heard, while maintaining the highest standards of leadership and accountability.

We are proposing for fairness and to promise future generations a bench that delivers fair and corrupt-free judgment. It is not a request but a reasonable plea that should be turned into reality. Let's give others a chance and create a more dynamic and balanced Supreme Court. Let’s leave behind a legacy of justice for our children and grandchildren. It starts with your signature.
