The Home Owners Association for the Canyon Ridge development in Redmond Oregon has been charging each property owner a monthly fee of $179 for property maintenance, irrigation costs, yard work, etc. For the last nine months nothing has been done as far as yard work or property upkeep. We originally were working with Blue Mountain Community Management, the HOA board found them in numerous breaches of contract- yet the home owners still paid the $179 fee for those months. Since switching community management companies, the sprinklers do not work on a consistence schedule, when they do they water the street mostly. They have not secured a relationship with a maintenance company to do the yard and lawn maintenance that is listed in our contract.

Now, after almost a year of this, residents of the neighborhood would like to petition that the HOA fee be terminated until terms of the contract can be upheld by the board. Additionally, that the monthly fee's that have been paid into the HOA up until this point, that have not been used as stated in the Home Owners Association's contract, be credited or reimbursed back to each individual property owner. Lastly, that the HOA fee only be put back in place when the terms of the contract are resumed.
