This beautiful tree in St George's street Canterbury, the centre of the city, is one of the majestic trees that Canterbury City Council is spending £1.2 million pounds in having removed. 5 of them in total that have shady seats beneath them, trees that are loved, and are the lungs of the city.
They have already got rid of the street market that has been there for generations. I honestly don’t feel spending this money on a new pavement is going to bring more tourism to Canterbury.
