Canterbury city council has revised a planning application to extend the Wincheap park and ride onto the riverside meadows.

Although the proposal includes a 16 metre wide buffer between the car park and the river, it would still use most of the meadow and wet woodland area for parking. It would still be very damaging to wildlife habitat and a precious landscape.

Wincheap water meadows is a peaceful and tranquil place and the car park would completely destroy this for people. Save this beautiful place and sign this petition if you disagree with the planning application. Thank you.
