Seasons Greetings!

Wishing you all a happy ending to the year and good luck going forward.

Looking back on 2018...

Looking back on 2018 Armando has spent an active year rebuilding his lifestyle and is busy planning for the future - which is a healthy sign.

Canterbury City Council pretty much ignored his complaints about their behaviour towards him in 2017.  This behaviour continued during the processing of his planning application, culminating in the refusal on 9th January to allow him to use the garden radio mast he has owned for several years.  (The same one his neighbours had the council spitefully remove.)  He sees the councils handling of his requests to be a continuation of the bullying.  Therefore he did three things:  He opened a complaint to the local government ombudsman in March while taking out a planning appeal.  Finally he filed for compensation due to the breaches of his human rights and loss of the use of his property at the small claims court.

 Strange things happen.

The Local Government Ombudsman didn't respond.  That's not completely true.  They did, in October.  Only so far, (Dec 31st) they have failed to provide Armando with a copy of their decision, or publish it on their website, like all the others.

The planning appeal hearing was due to report in early December.  Still no sign running up to the anniversary in January.

Looking forward to 2019...

Armando has asked us to thank you for your donations to his crowd funding appeal which raised enough to kick start his legal case with some proper legal advice.  He said to tell you he is getting on with his life and looking forward to next year, when hopefully all this unfinished business will be resolved.
